Visiting the Big Easy During Dog Days
NEW ORLEANS — There are certainly worse places to be at the tail-end if July; the Mojave Desert comes to mind. New Orleans, like much of the world, is experiencing a major heat wave right now. Add in the usual humidity, and even the folks who live here full-time are complaining, like the Uber driver I hired to take me to the New Orleans Museum of Art, a sanctuary certain to have world-class air conditioning.
